Sustainability

We gather much of our inspiration for Sarah Pardee Jewelry from the earth, and believe that we have a responsibility to honor and care for our planet and its inhabitants in our business practices.

All of the sterling silver and solid gold used are reclaimed metals (except for the chains, as we have not found a source for chains made of recycled materials. If you know of any, let us know!). We can use Fairmined gold upon request, and love to do so! We believe this to be the most ethical option available for sourcing gold. We thoughtfully source stones that are mined in the USA or that are responsibly sourced, meaning the miners have safe working conditions and fair pay, and environmental impacts of the mines are minimized. We are continually working to find the most ethically sourced materials possible. We also recycle all of our metal scraps. All diamonds are either reclaimed from previous jewelry or traceable to mines that use fair labor practices and are as environmentally responsible as possible.

All of our packaging and promotional materials are printed on recycled paper/cardboard. All jewelry comes in Eco-friendly FSC-certified boxes and is shipped in cardboard boxes made from 100% recycled materials (including the tissue paper).
